Located off Highway 9 about three miles west of I-77, Rodman Park was not keeping up with the needs of Chester County athletic enthusiasts. Limited at four existing baseball and softball fields, as well as two soccer fields, the park was ready for expansion, with the goal of becoming a destination sports field and athletic complex. We created the master plan which involved reorienting existing baseball fields and expanding with new diamonds, soccer fields, outdoor concessions and pavilions, additional parking, volleyball courts, picnic shelters, and a large walking trail. In addition, future plans will incorporate a large pond and outdoor amphitheater overlooking the water, solidifying Rodman Park’s sports destination status.
