At V3, work is about so much more than employment. Our employee enrichment programs empower our team to give back, get moving, and have fun together. Check out all the activities we explored during the first quarter of 2024!
REVITALIZE
REVITALIZE is our wellness program devoted to physical, mental, financial, and social health. To inspire our team to achieve their health goals this year, we delivered several opportunities to set benchmarks and start moving forward.
- 2024 program kickoff: The REVITALIZE committee started the year with a bang, announcing our new partnership with IncentFit: an app that syncs with fitness trackers to funnel data into our ongoing team challenges. We also reviewed employee participation incentives, which includes earning money towards either an HSA or bank account.
- Free biometric screenings: All employees were invited to receive a free health screening to get a baseline for the year. Establishing bio markers is a REVITALIZE requirement and helps employees set goals.
- Leap year walking challenge: Our first walking challenge of the year pushed us to walk 29 miles in seven days in recognition of Leap Year. At roughly four miles a day, this goal encouraged us to get moving despite cold temperatures.
- Q1 Adventure Club bingo cards: Every quarter we put together a themed bingo card to inspire team members to try new things. For Q1, we were challenged to walk in the woods, complete a 500+ puzzle, or try a new gym class.
VSR
“Service to community” is one of our core values, and VSR (V3 Social Responsibility) organizes volunteer opportunities throughout the year to help our team give back.
Our Columbus team participated in the first VSR event of the year through a build with Habitat for Humanity, one of our most long-standing non-profit partners. We’ve held many Habitat events over the years as our team loves getting outside and making a difference.
We also held a sustainability Terracycle event, where our team collected beauty and oral care products for proper recycling. Our efforts helped keep approximately 12 lbs. of waste out of landfills!
Winter tends to be our slowest VSR season due to weather limitations, but our committee met and kicked off plans for a philanthropic 2024!
Fun Committee
Our Fun Committee does a great job of sprinkling in entertaining office events, themed treats, and creative ways to brighten our days. Though events typically vary from office to office, this winter we were treated to chili cookoffs, March Madness fun, and pie on Pi Day!
