In its continuing mission to reward outstanding performance and contributions to its growth, V3 Companies has named four employees as new shareholders.
“One of our key core values is Dedication to Employees,” said Rob Petroelje, V3’s President and CEO. “When employees are equally dedicated to V3, we relish the opportunity to recognize that by inviting them to join us as owners.”
The new group of shareholders brings the number of V3 owners to 63. Employees are invited to become shareholders based on exemplary contributions to the company through their leadership, technical expertise and client service.
Jake Bauer, P.E. is a Project Manager who has been with V3 for 12 years. Jake’s leadership skills and “can do” attitude have been key to the successful delivery of numerous Tollway design projects. In addition, he is one of the firm’s go-to people for lighting design and has also been assisting with the management of V3’s quality assurance construction inspection program for ComEd. “Jake’s ability to manage large and diverse project teams is a major asset, particularly as IDOT gears up to deliver a robust, multi-year capital plan,” said Transportation and Municipal Services Director Vince Del Medico.
Ed Benesh, P.E. is a Resident Engineer II who has been at V3 for 15 years. “Ed’s knowledge of the industry, dedication to clients and management skills have made him an invaluable member of our team. His hard work and focus on clients’ needs and expectations have also resulted in significant repeat work. He is a skilled Resident Engineer with a passion to do whatever it takes to get the job done,” said Construction Engineering Director Matt Powers.
Amy Holmes, CPA joined V3 two years ago as the firm’s Controller; however, she was no stranger to V3 or the consulting industry having been the lead accounting professional for the firm’s annual audits for nine years, as well as sitting on multiple ACEC committees. “Amy has been a tremendous asset in leading our financial approach to various growth strategies across the firm, including our continued expansion throughout the Great Lakes region. Amy’s attitude and skill set has raised our game to a new level when it comes to financial strategy and operational excellence,” according to CEO Rob Petroelje.
Jason Holy, P.E. is a Project Manager at V3; he has been with the firm for 19 years. In addition to his efforts in continuing to expand V3’s relationship with ComEd, he has been key to winning new work with clients such as College of DuPage, Village of Oak Park and others. “Jason is a ‘jack of all trades’ whose technical experience and ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking has been very well received by clients,” explained Transportation and Municipal Services Director Vince Del Medico. “As a result, he is one of V3’s best internal resources for providing quality assurance reviews of design plans and specifications.”
