EPA Lebanon Brownfield Assessment
Our team is assisting the City of Lebanon with a $150,000 US EPA Brownfield Community-wide Assessment Grant project to help clean up abandoned, neglected properties around the town. We prepared the grant application and, after its subsequent award, were awarded the work contract. To date, we have assessed two sites: the first being a turn-of-the-century downtown commercial and residential building purchased by the City in hopes of supporting renovation and reuse. The second site is the former Lebanon Street Garage that the City intends to redevelop into a teenaged-focused community park, such as a skate park. We are currently conducting environmental assessments on the property and our LA team is completing a parks master plan, all of which are funded under this grant. The City intends to reapply for additional EPA Brownfield grant funding during the FY24 grant round.
